Inside This Issue
The Dog Days Of Summer
It’s been quiet on the newsletter front lately, primarily because it’s been quiet on the track front. The pros have been dialing it back to get ready for the USATF Championships in Eugene next weekend. The collegians are for the most part back in training. And the high school distance types are generally busy with summer training, while the speed demons are getting ready for the AAU Junior Olympics next weekend in Humble, Texas. (Our own George Tilt will be one of the announcers for that huge meet!)
Coverage-wise, our next newsletter will probably focus on the USATF meet, which I will be on-hand for. Because of travel and deadline issues the next week, our coverage of the AAU JOs will probably be a week later.
